Designer Duds

We have a LARGE selection of designer clothing and shoes from a variety of famous names: Chico's, Talbots, Liz Claiborne, Ann Taylor, Eileen Fisher, Jones New York, Cold Water Creek, Ann Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Bahama, Oleg Cassini, Lily Rubin (Canada), Dana Bruckman, and much MORE. A must shopping stop for all you fashionistas!

On-Site Adoptions

Beautiful, adoptable cats from Brigid's Crossing will be on-site every day we are open to visit with, pet, play with, and get to know in a cage-free environment. We have a special adoption room with two over-sized comfy chairs to relax and get to know the cats of the day. As we like to say, Shabby Cat is a great place to SHOP, ADOPT, DONATE, VOLUNTEER and LEARN. +View our adoptable cats

Donations

We are looking for donated items to sell in the shop including ladies hats, handbags, high heels, sandals, nice clothing, jewelry, wood furniture including two small desks, unusual lamps, local art, books, stand alone wood or metal coat racks and chandeliers, glass case with lock for jewelry, linens, tablecloths, books, cloth, designer clothes and shoes, christmas ornaments, and other gently-used items. US-based donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Volunteer at Shabby Cat!

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities at Shabby Cat.

  • Adoption room: 4 - 7 volunteers to rotate days. Play with cats, talk to possible new family, help with paper work and description of adoption process, clean cat area, feed and clean litter box.
  • Cat Teas: Three volunteers set up menu, prepare tea and treats, source tea and treats from possible donor, keep kitchen area clean, wash dishes, wait on customers, and collect donations. Fill out paperwork.
  • General Store: 14 volunteers four hours once a week to dust and organize inventory. Stock new items and where possible make items for sale in store. These items can include art, furniture refinish, sew cat toys, sew handbags, jewelry, etc. Wait on customers if store is busy.
  • Education: 1 – 2 volunteers able to give classes on cat health, community issues like reduction of cat population, care and support of community cats. Support education of these issues at local grammar schools. Source vets for free or low cost clinic in shop once a month.
  • Inventory Sourcers: Volunteers to go to dress, shoe and furniture stores for new items they may be ready to get rid of.

Brigid's Crossing is a unique, non-profit, cat rescue & holistic sanctuary in Naples, Florida. We are a no-cage, no-kill, nature-oriented center. We are focused on the rescue, adoption, lifetime and hospice care of homeless, sick and abandoned animals while teaching about the path of service and the ways in which it enhances life.
